es freut uns sehr zu hören, dass bereits viele von euch ihre Pakete erhalten haben und noch mehr über all das positive Feedback. Im ganzen Trubel der letzten Tage hatten wir leider vergessen auf ein Detail hinzuweisen, welches auch in den vergangenen Kampagnen immer wieder Thema war:

Alle Spiele werden in der gleichen, englischen, Verpackung geliefert. Das Spielmaterial selbst ist jedoch auf deutsch, solltet ihr die deutsche Variante bestellt haben. Falls ihr sicher gehen möchtet, dass ihr die richtige Variante erhalten habt, bevor ihr das Spiel auspackt, könnt ihr das anhand der Seriennummer neben dem Strichcode auf der Rückseite der Sachtel überprüfen. Endet die Seriennummer auf DE handelt es sich um ein deutsches Spiel.

Hi everyone,

we're happy to hear that many of you have already received their parcels and even happier about all the positive feedback we received. A little detail we forgot to mention despite the fact that it already came up within the first two Dodoresque campaigns:

All Games come in the same English box, all parts of the game inside are in German, if you have ordered the German Edition. If you want to make sure that you have received the right language, you can check the language edition by taking a look at the serial number next to the barcode on the back of the box. Does it end with DE, it's a German Game.

IMPORTANT UPDATE regarding SHIPPING and FUTURE EXPANSION

Hi everyone!

This update includes important information regarding shipping, scheduling and the upcoming Cherry Blossom Deluxe Expansion. Please read it carefully from start to finish to avoid any complications.

We have just finished production of the first wave of Dodo Miniatures which are now ready to ship. Everyone who is about to receive their copy of the game/miniatures should have received an E-Mail from BackerKit by now, asking you to check your address and selected addons before we lock orders.

At this point we are sadly not able to deliver to all of our Backers due to the ongoing Covid-19-situation. We can not ship to the USA, Australia, New Zealand and most countries in South America. Shipments to Canada and most Asian countries will take significantly longer than usual, as there is not enough air traffic to handle all postage, which means that parcels may end up on cargo ships, adding 3-4 weeks to the shipping time. Reduced personel at customs may also add extra time on that portion of the way, the same may apply to the final delivery route.

Within the EU things should go rather normal, but even here we have to expect slightly longer delivery times than usual.

Coming to another topic that many of our Backers are interested in, the upcoming „Cherry Blossom“ Deluxe Expansion, adding four more miniatures to the second Dodoresque game to complete the series.

Throughout the post-campaign this has actually been the most selected Addon, which is something we are generally very happy about. However, the production of the Jungle Fever Miniatures has shown to be substantially more difficult and time consuming than we had anticipated, so we have made the decision that there won't be another Kickstarter campaign for Cherry Blossom.

This does not mean that we cancel the whole operation, but we won't run another campaign or advertise the project in any way. The only option to get your hands on a copy of the miniature set will be through our BackerKit-PreOrder-Shop and possibly via our upcoming webshop.

We will certainly not force you into Pre-Ordering the miniatures for a game you possibly haven't even played yet. Apart from the already ordered miniatures we will also produce a reasonable amount of additional copies to provide a certain stock for people who might want to order the miniatures later on. However, this stock will be limited and at this point we do not plan with another production run of any Dodoresque Miniatures. When they are gone, that's the way it is.

To end this update we would like to assure you that we as well as our logistics partner will be monitoring the situation in the respective countries closely to make sure that the rest of you will receive their Dodo Miniatures as soon as possible.

Current state of the project

Hi everyone,

today we would like to give you a little update on the current situation, as we are steadily closing in on our intended delivery schedule.

As of now, 3 of the Dodo characters are fully printed and 80% painted, but we are lacking material to finish production.

The Covid-Pandemic is clearly leaving its mark on parts of the supply chain, at the moment there's pretty much a global Resin-shortage and only a handful of companies are currently able to supply customers with high-priced products that aren't an option for our production. 

Of course we are in contact with various resin-manufacturers at the moment, but they are having a very hard time getting the basic materials and the demand is obviously very high. We do hope, that we will receive a delivery by the end of this month or in early August, allowing us to finish the print of our Dodos within a couple of days and possibly still ship within our intended schedule.

So much for now, we hope all of you are well and making the best of these strange times. You'll be hearing from us as soon as we can get our hands on some resin, as this will enable us to determine a shipping schedule to share with you.

Hi everyone,

as some of you have made use of Kickstarters new „Request Update“ button and to be fair, it has been a while, here's a little update on the current state of the project.

At this point we are about 65% done with the printing progress of the figures and have just started painting. Sadly things went a little slower than anticipated, as our new printer came with a technical issue that can only be resolved with a spare part, which we are still waiting for as international postage still is a bit of a pain due to the ongoing Covid-situation.

Progress is being made and despite some bumps along the way we are certain that we will be able to stick to our intended delivery schedule.

Pledge Manager open. Check your E-Mail!

Hi everyone,

it's been a little longer than intended, but setting up shipping in the Pledge Manager was a bit of an advanced task that we needed some extra time and a helping hand from BackerKits support with.

By now each Backer should have received an E-Mail from BackerKit with a unique link which will lead you right to the survey. No need to create an account or anything like that (while there is an option to create a permanent BackerKit-Account from where you are able to manage all of your BackerKit Projects, in case you are very active on Kickstarter). Please also check your Spam folder if you can't find the E-Mail right away and maybe give it a couple of hours, as the Mails have just been sent and might take some time in some cases.

Additional info for the "Game Only" Backers: We will send out the game as soon as your survey is completed, consider your survey locked as soon as you have entered it. If you need us to wait for what ever reason, please let us know.

For everyone who will be using an external Pledge Manager (or just BackerKit) for the first time, here's a little guide on what to do with the Pledge Manager. Start out by clicking on the link provided in your E-Mail and the window opening should look a little bit like this:

In addition to the Pledge Manager, we also have opened our PreOrder Store. While this is probably not all that interesting for you as you have backed the project already, maybe you have some friends who missed out on the campaign and would have loved to be part of it.
